
This project was a comprehensive collaborative historical research initiative between General Motors (GM), its Heritage Center, and Laguna Media Group. The goal was to create a compelling and visually engaging historical narrative. The project began with detailed scripting to ensure the story was both informative and captivating. It then brought together a rich collection of visual historical archives, which were enhanced with dynamic motion treatments to breathe life into the past. In addition to utilizing existing footage, original content was commissioned specifically for the video, capturing key moments and perspectives. Interviews with key stakeholders, including GM executives, industry experts, and long-time employees, were conducted to provide firsthand accounts and insights. The entire process culminated in meticulous editing, ensuring a seamless blend of archival materials, new footage, and personal stories to deliver a well-rounded and impactful video presentation.
